Welcome to the Avayan Recording Studios!

In this section of my web page I detail the cool gadgets I have purchased through the ages and attempted to utilize while recording my music. To be honest, this is always a learning process. Every day, more and more new gadgets are released into stores, like my favorite place in Dallas Texas, Guitar Center in 635. Unfortunately, Bill Gates has still not responded so I am not rich and can not buy all the gadgets I want. Hence, I will have to continue going to Guitar Center and buy gadgets long before I fully learn how to use the ones I already have. Enjoy!

The studio as seen from the front ( I wish my robotic camera was working so that I could take a panoramic video. The photos will do!) As you can see there are far more instruments than I can play. If I ever manage to be immortal, I promise to master them all! In the meantime, I am concentrating with the guitar and recording gear. Do you like the acoustic foam on the back???

As you rotate to your right, you can now see even more instruments. Is this guy out of his mind? A bass guitar, an electric drum set and more synthesizers? How many banks has he robbed, you may be asking! At the moment none and hopefully that will remain like that forever as stealing is not on my genes. Everything here is the product of me spending every cent of my check (and credit cards), although there have been some presents from my family as well. Theroretically, I should not have to go as often to Guitar Center, right? Heck, the store is practically in my room!

However, I still go two or three times a week... Shame on me!

Notice R2D2 in the back? Good companionship indeed! BTW, I have a wife, don’t think of me as a freeky and geeky sick bastard who should be internalized. Although if you do get to know me, you may call the guys in white on my behalf...

Cool acoustic foam! Where did I get it?

If you were to rotate left, the guitar section of the studio would be visible. You can only see 3 guitars, but this is because I keep 2 at work so that I can practice with my buddies during lunch time. I also have a traveler guitar and an Ibanez acoustic guitar (not seen in this picture).

Man! That acoustic foam! I have never seen it in stores... Where did it come from?

Check my How To page for more information on hot to do your own acoustic foam panels!
