All I have to say is “Hi I…” and as it had been the gun fired at the start of a race, I see them off and running like crazy! I am told it has to do with the structure my MLM company holds. A little bit similar to a pyramid, because it grows down from a center with two legs, Network Marketing has been able to become another entity people wants to fear, much like aliens and creatures from the deep. What none of these fearful folks realize is that most likely they are already members to a real pyramid. One in which there is no way to grow and you are already at the bottom! Now, that’s scary!!!
Let us analyze Corporate America. There are thousands of large companies on our beloved country, so I am not talking of any in particular. Thanks to capitalism they all work the same, anyway. At the top of this company there is the CEO. How many CEO’s does a company has? One! That’s it! Of course the CEO then has a few VP’s reporting to him. Each one of these VPs will have a few Section Managers reporting to them. Each one of these Section Managers will have a variety of Managers reporting directly to them. To these Managers, Team Leaders report. And finally, you and me report to the Team Leader. Who reports to me? Who reports to you? The cockroaches! (if you are lucky…)
My friend! You and I are at the bottom of the pyramid and there is no way we can add people below so that we can grow. We are stuck here and this is most likely going to be true for a very long time. Of course you could argue that if you work hard enough, you could achieve higher positions such as Team Leader, Manager, Section Manager, VP or even CEO! This is true! Nonetheless, are you aware of how hard and close to impossible, achieving some of these positions may be? Team Leader is easy. Manager is doable. But above this, you need to give it all you got, fight with the politics and wait your turn. God knows what else you have to sacrifice…
Network Marketing gives us all a chance to be CEO. How much you work at it defines how much you will obtain back. In fact, those above you and me on the MLM structure, can still be below us in profits because your return truly depends on your efforts, not on how brown your nose is. You can add people below your structure but at the same time help them to be above you in lifestyle. Now you can be part of a team based on equilibrium, not just the peasant wishing to be king (or marrying the princess).
Which pyramid would you rather be in?
