I had always wanted my own CNC equipment. CNC comes in many flavors, although CNC by itself stands for computer numerical control, and there are some standards to what it means in terms of codes, although nowadays it is the same as any very accurate and precise form of control by means of a computer. The blade can be anything! A mill, a water jet, a cutting blade, and in the case of what I went with, the light of a laser. The laser is usually meant for engraving, but that is what my wife uses it for. I use it mostly for cutting!
